It would be helpful to see booked corn separated on the DPR and have a way to pull from booked corn in AO screen. A checkmark like Grain Bank that is always there or is linked to customer's mix IDs or a checkmark on their account would be nice or the ability to map Corn to our regular corn codes and have a separate option for the same type corn codes but labeled "Booked" corn tied to a booked corn line item on the DPR or to the Inter-Divisional contract.

What problem does this Idea solve?
Whoever is purchasing corn will have the ability to see how much booked corn total we need for the season and if we need to purchase more before prices go up. The corn doesn't have to be separated into customers on the commodity side. We can use bookings for that and pricing. We just need to be able to move corn to the booked corn section when all bookings are final and ready to be used and pull from the booked corn in assembly orders. Minimal manual adjustment and little room for human error. It’s faster to read and act on a DPR that cleanly separates booked from regular, rather than having to pull other reports or manually sort numbers. |
