What problem does this Idea solve?
It would be much more user friendly if we could have seed ordering separate from a booking. Having bookings with “parent items” seems much more logical. One single variety can have up to 8 different seed sizes/package size combinations – all of which would get the same price regardless of which seed size or package size was chosen. Having to choose a single item and then possibly change it several times through the course of the ordering season makes for a lot of extra time-consuming work. Seed ordering does need to be specific so having that separate from bookings makes sense!
Have a simple way to back fill grower orders – let say I grab supply of a seed item that several growers need – switching each individual booking is tedious. Having a different method of back filling would be more user friendly.
Be able to view per grower what they have for supply of each item ordered. Let’s say I ordered 20 bags of item ABC but only have 18 grabbed for supply for that grower. Being able to see that information would be helpful.
